Chamberlin is honored to receive six Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction (EIC) and Merit awards from their local ABC chapters, which qualifies Chamberlin's work on these six projects to compete at the national level in November.

Chamberlin's work on the Oklahoma University (OU) Cross Village won an ABC Oklahoma EIC award. Chamberlin installed approximately 580,000 square feet and 408,500 linear feet of waterproofing products for the new on-campus housing. This significant scope was completed in just one year with a total contract amount of over $1,600,000.

ABC Central Texas honored Chamberlin with an ABC Central Texas EIC Merit award for their work on The Querencia in Austin, Texas. Chamberlin installed 20,200 square feet of the W.R Grace Bituthene 4,000 sheet waterproofing system, 190,000 square feet of Allguard elastomeric coating, 6,800 square feet of horizontal waterproofing drain board, 11,475 square feet of Perm-A-Barrier Wall Membrane, 1,140 pavers, 9,400 linear feet of metal retaining flashing and removed and replaced 1,600 square feet of masonry.

The Buckingham qualified for an ABC Houston EIC Merit Award. The Buckingham is a four-story senior living community located right in the center of Houston, Texas. The establishment encompasses over 200 residences and provides a lifestyle for the elderly after retirement. While installing nearly 190,000 square feet of waterproofing products, Chamberlin met challenges such as terrain obstacles, unknown conditions and time constraints. This scope was completed in 20 months with a total contract amount of nearly $5,700,000.

Chamberlin was awarded an ABC Central EIC Award for their work done on the Methodist TNI Parking Garage and was also recognized as the ABC Central Texas Best of the Best Specialty Contractor, which is the highest honor of the EIC specialty contractor awards. Chamberlin installed approximately 305,000 square feet and 25,000 linear feet of waterproofing products. This remedial project was completed in eight months.

TEXO, The Construction Association honored Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing with a Merit award in their 2018 Distinguished Building Awards competition for their roofing and waterproofing installation on the new Rolex building in downtown Dallas. The Distinguished Building Awards embody the skill, commitment and passion that TEXO members have for construction. In the parking garage, Chamberlin installed post-applied and pre-applied sheet waterproofing, a traffic-rated polyurethane methacrylate (PUMA) coating and an under-tile rated PUMA coating. The waterproofing scope also included air barrier and joint sealants. Additionally, Chamberlin installed a hot modified roofing system, a PVC membrane roofing system, wood blocking, flashings and sheet metal. Several atypical conditions were discovered during construction, one of which no one on the project team had encountered before. Chamberlin worked with the team creating new intricate details and helping identify alternative products to meet the challenges.

Chamberlin's work on a new five-star hotel won an ABC Houston EIC Award. Chamberlin installed approximately 230,000 square feet and 160,000 linear feet of waterproofing products. This elegant mixed-use development encompasses a 38-story hotel tower, retail and dining, a pool, a luxurious salon and spa, a two-story fitness center and parking garage. This massive scope was completed in approximately two and a half years with a total contract amount of nearly $3,500,000.
