The crew members, originally trained in waterproofing installation, were cross trained to learn the roofing trade. The course included an overview of commercial roofing systems, roofing details, QA/QC procedures and productivity standards. While maintaining safe practices for general construction hazards plus COVID-19, the crew members learned installation techniques for single ply roofing systems, both TPO and PVC. They also studied heat welding utilizing hand welders and robotic welders. [Carlisle Syntec Systems](https://www.carlislesyntec.com) joined the course to help instruct and train the group. ![](https://www.chamberlinltd.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/3424.jpeg?width=131&name=3424.jpeg)![](https://www.chamberlinltd.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/3423.jpeg?width=131&name=3423.jpeg)![](https://www.chamberlinltd.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/3425.jpeg?width=131&name=3425.jpeg)![](https://www.chamberlinltd.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/3428.jpeg?width=131&name=3428.jpeg) We at Chamberlin know the importance of craft training for safety, quality and productivity purposes.
