Phase II of the Oklahoma University (OU) Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium's $160-million renovation is well under way. This major expansion and addition to the 93-year-old stadium is sure to please Sooner fans with ideal seating and preferred parking. Watch this video to see all the decadence they have in store.

Phase I wrapped up last month, which encompassed the club rooms, box suites, a new digital scoreboard, renovation of the Academic and Administrative Center and a 750-space parking garage. Working under general contractor joint venture Austin Commercial and Flintco, Chamberlin completed below-grade dampproofing, fluid-applied waterproofing, expansion joints, traffic coating, insulation and firestopping.

Chamberlin crews are currently installing exterior site sealants and joint sealants on the stadium’s façade for Phase II, which includes a new façade on the north and south faces and improvements to the Santee Lounge. This construction is scheduled on weekdays only and concludes each week in time for the materials to set before the crowds roll in to see the Sooners play each weekend.

The stadium's renovation was designed with the fans' experience in mind. Capacity for over 80,000, aesthetic appeal and advanced A/V systems including a video board 50 feet high and 170 feet wide will enhance every game-goer’s enjoyment. Check out the latest news and photos here.
