Chamberlin crews are working hard at the Greystar Apartments Latitude Med Center luxury residential tower, a new 35-story high rise sitting atop ten levels of parking. These apartment homes and adjoining hotel, also under construction, are needed to meet the growing market demands not only for the adjacent Texas Medical Center, but also the Greater Houston area. Micro units will be as small as 350 square feet and penthouses over 3,500 square feet.
The facility was designed with top-notch amenities, high quality finishes and a variety of on-site conveniences to create an environment that will enhance the overall living experience. Residents will have access to a pool, two outdoor kitchen areas, fitness facilities, a meeting room and business center, a clubroom and a dog walking area. The 10th floor will offer its own garden terrace.
Working under Hoar Construction, LLC, Chamberlin waterproofing crews are installing crystalline waterproofing, hot-fluid applied asphalt waterproofing, bentonite waterproofing, site sealants, traffic coating, air barrier and joint sealants.
Next, Chamberlin roofing crews will install a TPO roofing system, sheet metal, coping and counter flashing. The project is projected to finish in 2018.
