Chamberlin is honored to have received two Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Central Texas Excellence in Construction (EIC) Eagle awards from their work on the Austin Q2 Stadium and Wursthalle, which qualifies Chamberlin's work on these two projects to compete at the national level. The EIC awards program represents the nation's most innovative and high quality construction projects and safety programs. They are designed to recognize outstanding projects built by members of the association which helps bring about awareness of the quality of work being produced by merit shop contractors.

Applicants must be ABC members, and no project that experiences a safety-related fatality within the current program year is eligible. Judges select the winning entries based on the following criteria: attractiveness of design, complexity, workmanship, innovation, unusual challenges overcome and more.

Chamberlin Project Estimator Travis Ross and Senior Operations Manager Pat Halaszyn received the Eagle Award for the Austin Q2 Stadium and Project Manager Brett Schropp and Senior Project Estimator Nick Flory received the Eagle Award for Wursthalle at the ABC Central Texas Excellence in Construction awards banquet on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the Four Seasons in Austin, Texas.

The Austin Q2 Stadium in North Austin is a one-of-a-kind soccer stadium built from the ground up. Chamberlin was employed to work on both roofing and waterproofing scopes. This included the bullnose aluminum portion of the roof, along with the metal panels on the underside of the roof which helped to create an open-air canopied bowl. Chamberlin also installed the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) single-ply roofing on multiple spaces surrounding the soccer field. Chamberlin's waterproofing crews were brought on to install below grade waterproofing, hot-applied waterproofing, air barrier, fire caulking, thermal insulation and water repellents to name a few.

When the 2019 Wurstfest concluded, a fire started destroying the Marketplatz and damaging the iconic Wursthalle. Chamberlin was selected by Design/Builder Byrne Construction for concrete restoration on Wursthalle and waterproofing installation on the new Marketplatz. Crew members worked hard to rectify the damage to Wursthalle and help build a new Marketplatz.
