Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing is partnering with other local construction firms and AGC Charities, Inc. to help build “Morgan’s Inspiration Island,” a new handicap-accessible water park addition to non-profit Morgan’s Wonderland. Morgan’s Wonderland is the world’s first theme park designed with special-needs individuals in mind and built for everyone’s enjoyment. The new expansion to Morgan’s Wonderland will serve as the world’s first-ever fully-accessible water park when it opens in Spring 2017.

John Walker, Chamberlin General Superintendent says, “This project is very dear to my heart, as I have a granddaughter that is autistic.” He and other Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing employees are volunteering their time to waterproof four different buildings for the water park addition. The project will be treated like an “Extreme Makeover’, where numerous individuals come together to make a difference in a small amount of time. GC Charities and the local contractors, who are calling themselves the Inspiration Island Working Group, will help build five new pump houses, a new main building and the signature lighthouse feature for Morgan’s Inspiration Island.
