Team Safety Excellence
Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing was recognized by Gilbane|Harvey for their ongoing safety excellence at the ExxonMobil Campus Project. The work the Chamberlin team is currently performing consists of bentonite waterproofing, exterior and interior joint sealants, expansion joint assemblies, traffic coatings and crystalline waterproofing.
With over 58,000 man-hours to date, no recordables or lost time accidents have occurred during Chamberlin’s work; evidence that the safety awareness provided through training and weekly meetings has been successful. Project Manager, Allen Polasek, along with Superintendents, Chris Brower and Alex Benzor, have made it a top priority to implement safety each and every day. Additionally, Wamsutta Brown provides site safety coordination as he is on site full-time supervising the workforce and conducting daily inspections.
The safety excellence award was presented to Chamberlin at a safety lunch meeting held by the general contracting team. Homemade lunch and a celebratory cake were provided to show appreciation for the hard work and attention to safety that has been demonstrated throughout the project by the Chamberlin team.
