So Many Awards, So Little Shelf Space!
There is no better way to start the year than with a number of accolades under our belt. Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing was awarded the Association of Builders and Contractors’ (ABC), National Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award, for their renovation on the exterior skin of the Dallas Federal Reserve. Also awarded by ABC was the National Safety Excellence Award (NSEA), which recognizes companies who demonstrate a continued commitment to jobsite safety through their corporate safety culture, training and programs.
Additionally, the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Oklahoma Chapter, honored Chamberlin with an Annual Safety Award. Judged on total lost work day cases in relation to the total number of man hours supervised, Waterproofing Superintendent, Mark Beal, received this award for zero lost work day cases in 2013. Continuing the success through safety practices, Chamberlin was also awarded the TEXO Construction Safety Excellence Award and a Certificate of Excellency from the National AGC Safety Awards Program for their outstanding achievement in jobsite safety.
Chamberlin was also recognized by the American Subcontractor Association’s (ASA) Houston Chapter, as a Gold Member for the Commitment to Safety (CTS) Program. The CTS program was developed to recognize specialty contractors who implement effective safety and health programs and provide respective training for all levels of management and employees.
The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress’ Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award program identifies and honors workers across the United States for their exceptional achievements and contributions to the roofing industry. Chamberlin Roofing and Sheet Metal Foreman, Javier Contreras, was recognized as MVP for 2014. Javier’s dedication to safety, quality and productivity, along with his forethought and attention to detail, are noteworthy qualities that make him one of the best in the business.
Helping Chamberlin continue their success, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) honored Chamberlin with a Gold Circle Award for their efforts helping those affected by the devastating tornadoes that tore through Moore, Oklahoma during the summer of 2013. NRCA’s Service to the Community category recognizes worthy projects benefitting the community.
Lastly, Amanda Lipford, Chamberlin Business Development, was recognized with the “Friend of IREM” award from the Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) Dallas Chapter for her contributions to the organization and industry.
