Chamberlin’s award winning streak continued with three first prize awards at the recent Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Excellence in Construction Awards. At the Houston Chapter ABC Awards, Chamberlin received an Excellence Award in the “Interior Finish” category for the UT MD Anderson FEMA Internal Flood Compartmentalization and Lambeth House Exterior Cladding Renovation in the “Other Specialty Construction” category. At the North Texas Chapter awards ceremony in Dallas Chamberlin was honored with an Excellence Award for the Bluffview Towers Renovation in the category “Under $2 Million” as well as a Merit Award for the Gulf States project under “Exterior Finish.” All projects will go on to compete at the ABC national level this spring. Chamberlin was also honored at the 11th Annual “Best of” competition put on by Texas Construction magazine. The awards recognize excellence in construction and design in Texas. Entries were judged on project management, construction innovation, client service and safety. Submitting firms ranged from general contractors and private owners and architects, engineers and specialty contractors. Chamberlin received an Excellence Award in the “specialty contracting” category for the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library exterior renovation project in Dallas and the UT MD Anderson FEMA Flood Compartmentalization project in Houston.
