Founded in 2010 by the San Antonio Food Bank as The Kitchen Table, the New Braunfels Food Bank is an expansion of this effort to serve the Comal and surrounding counties more fully. The Food Bank’s focus is for clients to have food for today but to also have the resources to be self-sufficient in the future.

Serving over 7,000 people a month, the New Braunfels Food Bank helps those in their season of need across Comal and Guadalupe counties in southwest Texas. The COVID19 pandemic brought a new season of need for many and the Food Bank ramped up additional services to meet that additional need.

Chamberlin’s value “Giving Back” states, “Giving with an open heart, whether it be our time, talent or treasure is always the right thing to do.” On June 24th, Chamberlin employees from Austin and San Antonio came together to give back at the Food Bank. They volunteered in the warehouse where they helped back boxes of food for families. The day was a success as they helped fill 576 boxes, 12 pallets of boxes.
